MARIO BOSSOLASCO

This conference is the 35th of a series
initiated in 1950 in Milan for the initiative of
prof. Mario Bossolasco (Turin 1903-1985),
professor of terrestrial physics at the University
of Genoa, founder (1939) and first editor of the
journal "Pure and Applied Geophysics".

The Proceedings of the first ICAM were published in 1950 on the vol. 17 of the journal.

Thereafter ICAMs have been regularly held every two years, in various Alpine countries and beyond.
